Rejection has always played a big part in my life. I used to be a competitive cheerleader so being rejected was something I was used to, but it always made me so doubtful of my skills. While reading Why Rejection Hurts So Much, everything made a lot of sense. It explains why it makes you so sad. it gives great information on how to deal with it and make yourself feel better in a time of rejection. This is my second year of being a PTA for a Gateway class. Seven Ways to Crush Self-Doubt in Creative Work was really inspiring because I do doubt myself and what I am capable of. I want to inspire my students but sometimes I feel like they don't think I am good enough to be a PTA. I learned from this that I am still growing as a teacher (even though that isn't what I want to be.) I love inspiring young minds so I hope they see me as someone they can trust, but I am still doubtful.
